Candidiasis Do's and Don'ts?

After suffering for nearly six months, I have finally received a diagnosis of Candidiasis. Unfortunately, it wasn’t found at early stages and is all throughout my esophagus, lungs, and other areas of my body. I have been told that there are natural ways of curing this, and have recently started to detox my body and eat foods such as raw garlic, raw green vegetables, chicken for protein, ect. I have also started taking supplements such as probiotics and oil of oregano. I have seen so many Do’s and Don’ts that I get really confused as to what I should be listening to. My question is, are nutrients from fruits, more specifically, vitamins in general, bad for the overgrowth of candida? Some say yes, and some say no… Any advice or knowledge in the area would be great! I would like to fight this successfully, I’m only 21 and this has been taking over my life for too long!

Full body cleanse pill or diet?

I have candida and need to do a full body cleanse…But with money as tight as it is…I can’t pay + for each separate box for each cleanse which includes but isn’t limited to…Colon, parasite, liver cleanse, kidney, lung, stomach, bladder etc.

Is there a full body detox/cleanse I can get that doesn’t cost +?
Um…I don’t think you know what Candida is…It’s a yeast Infection. Mine is GI Candida. Hence…The yeast is so built up in my body its literally eating my intestinal walls and getting the toxins in my blood. It’s infected everything in my body. Lungs, liver, colon, brain, blood, mouth. Anything you can think of, it’s infected with yeast. Do your research before criticizing me for wanting to not die from this.
And I am doing a diet. But I’m going to start the diet with the cleanse/detox because my medication alone isn’t cutting it anymore.

Again, if anyone paid any attention to what Candida is, and what it does to a person, you’d know:

Step One- DETOX [THE BODY]
Step Two- STARVE [THE YEAST] (aka DIET)
Step Three- REBUILD [AND REBALANCE BACTERIA AND FUNGI]

heyyyy; okay so basically i’m fourteen years old. i’m a teenage girl,
i had my period for 8 months, and since i was twelve i’ve been getting pimples, but when i was twelve it was just a few, and some blackheads, now, i have VERY oily skin, with loads of blackheads on my nose and under eye area, and a few pimples on my face.
i have severe back acne for about 9 months.
i’ve tried clearasil, vinegar, pan oxyl, and other things i can’t think of.
at the moment i’ve come to the conclusion that over the counter products dont work, and i think natural products do.
i’m now using tea tree oil on my face & back, (face really clearing up)
& 99.9% pure aloe vera gel for my scars. its early days yet, so i cant
judge my back yet, as it is so severe and i understand it takes time.
but heres the bit i need help on: my diet.
when i was younger, since the age of 11, i had a yeast Infection,
and thrush, suffered with dandruff, still do, all because of my diet which was full of chocolate, sugary sweets, you name it, i ate it.
so now, i believe i’m paying for it, with my severe back acne.
i want to detox my body from the candida and hopefully clear the infection and the back acne, i’d like a detailed description of things i should do for this and what to eat and not to eat.
PS: i take zinc supplements, chromiom pilconate, vitamin c, probiotic tablets, milk thistle, and super 5′s.

Thank you. PPS: not open to medical acne treatment.

Could the 3-day Acne fast by Chris Gibson work?

I’m a 24 year old male whose tried everything except accutane. I’m from the UK and my GP wont allow me to see a derm or go on accutane because he says my acne isn’t too bad. Last year I tried the 3 day acne fast by chris gibson. It was challenging but i was willing to try anything to beat my acne which i have had for more than 10 years.

To be honest, I stuck to the diet eating apples and drinking water, even doing an enema every night for three days. At the end of the three days, I broke my diet by having a drink with some of my friends. Yes, i know i wasn’t supposed to but i didnn’t think that such a small thing could ruin everything if it was supposed to be the real trick. Anyways, the end result was that nothing happened. All i did was lose 7 pounds (which isn’t really a good thing because I’m a pretty skinny person and a hard gainer). I was really dissapointed because i felt that I was just going to have to live with acne until it got replaced by wrinkles. I went back on minocycline as prescribed by my GP and drank water. I have the type of acne which is a everlong rash paired with one or two pimples. Anyways, something interesting happend.

I was doing a university project and travelled to Sierra Leone in Africa for about a month. I forgot my medication and was thinking that I was going to suffer a serious break out. But suprisingly, even though I wasn’t taking pills or using some sort of a cleanser, my acne didn’t get particularly worse. I just had the same rash and occasional pimple. I don’t know if it was the change of diet, or type of food i was having there (i didn’t even fast), but for the first time in ten years, there was no desperate need to have acne pills or cleansers. I’ve been off any sort of remedy for about a year now but I still have a rash and pimples here and there. I don’t have any particular diet but I’m planning one. You see, i started thinking, if my face doesn’t break out particularly bad when I’m off any sort of medication.

There must be some internal way of getting rid of this acne and rash permanently without using cleansers. Mind you, i’ve had the same rash for 10 years so my face has never been spotless. I read in a biography that Michael Jackson cleared his early-adult acne by going on a serious detox. The author said that it was the reason he used to be extremly thin in the thriller days. Anywayays, although the 3-day-acne diet detox didn’t do much for me. I’m considering going on it for again and sticking to some sort of a diet with little sugar. I also can’t insist that I’ll stick to a strict diet forver. Let’s be real, someone can’t stick to apples, no sugar and soda forever. I’m not saying that a regular diet won’t help, but most of my friends feast on ice-cream, sugars, meat and beers and remain practically spotless. I was wondering if the 3-day acne fast, paired with a regular diet clean of sugars and wheat is likely to help remove the root cause of my acne and clear this annoying rash once and for all. I wouldn’t mind if I had to do it like twice a year. Chris Gibson’s theory is that adult acne’s caused by candida.

It makes sense that there’s some sort of feature which is higher in a person with adult acne than one without adult acne because it seems we (acne-sufferers) are very sensitve to sugary foods where as other people can live off them without getting a pimple.

So to summarize, what I’m asking is after doing the 3 day acne fast and not getting satisfactory results the first time. Could it cure my adult acne from the source if i do it perhaps twice a year and stick to a relatively sugar-free diet for about a following the 3-day-apple and water detox?

Candida yeast Infection Treatment – yeast infection natural Cures

Candida is a genus of yeast that has a symbiotic relationship with animals and humans. While not usually harmful to its host, some species can cause infections. The culprit is usually Candida albicans which causes an infection known as Candidiasis. It usually presents itself in moist warm areas such as the oral cavity, skin folds and genitalia. Candidiasis does not discriminate by age; it can affect and infant and a senior citizen. There are many different kinds of medication available over the counter that can eliminate cadidiasis, however there are many household items you can use as alternative. Some few candida yeast infection treatment

Yoghurt

Yoghurt contains live bacteria that can fight yeast and can be used both internally and externally. Simply apply it to the affected area and leave it to sit for a few hours. Be careful because if you leave it for a long amount of time, the affected area will feel itchier so it’s best to wipe it off once you start feeling the tiniest bit of itchiness. You can make yoghurt on your own if you have the equipment but if you’re going to purchase a batch at the store, make sure you take plain yoghurt. Flavored yoghurt contains sugar which will only feed the yeast and make the infection worse.

Potassium Sorbate

Potassium Sorbate is used to deter the growth of fungi (molds, yeast etc) in food. It is usually used in making beer so you can purchase some in the nearest wine making store. Simply apply some to the affected area and leave it overnight. Repeat this until the yeast infection has subsided.

detoxified weight loss program?

My doctor has started a new program to help his patients change their lifestyle to lose weight and fat. There are different versions of the program such as a 5 week candida, 20 day hormonal balance, etc. (they are all designed to help with weight loss and trouble areas on the body) With each program you get some type of kit that comes with nutritional shakes that is supposed to take the place of a meal, all natural pills, and personalized patient plan. During the first week or so with any of the programs they have what is called a body cleanse. Depending on the type of program that is chosen and how much weight needs lost will determine how restrictive food options are. For each program there are a few detox phases, 3 to 4 days long, that is supposed to rid the body of toxins. During the detox phase the only thing that is allowed to be eaten or drank is a mixture of water, lemon juice and some type of natural maple syrup (for calories). It seems like a good porgram because it is supposed to almost eliminate cravings. The problem with any of these programs is it costs a lot, starts out at 0 plus.

There is more to it but the website with more info is here

Does anyone have any experience with this type of weight loss? Has anyone participated in a similar program? Are there similiar programs out there that are cheaper?

My acne! :( Please help?

A few years ago I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis and was hospitalised. Before that I had been on many drugs, anti inflamatories, anti depressants all sorts.

After going through virtually ALL of the OTC supplements and facial regimes, I decided to take a deeper look at my acne. I figured, since I had been on so many drugs, I may have a fungal overgrowth in my body. I had a ‘hair test’ done and the main stressor in my body, was indeed fungal in nature. Possibly candida. I went on a three month candida diet, excluding almost all sugar, the only sugar I ate were natural occuring sugars in vegetables like spinach, drank a hell of a lot of alkaline filtered water and took garlic and pau d’arco supplements.
Result?
NOTHING

I think thought, I may naturally just have an excessively oily face. So I started taking vilantae B5 from evolution X. I must admit, this did clear my acne a small amount. At the same time I was using Acne Free skin care routine. This combination did not rid me of acne, but it cleared it up about 40%.

I then decided I couldn’t afford this anymore. £30 per bottle of vilantae is far too expensive!
I thought, maybe due to my colon and digestive problems in the past, I may have a toxic colon, or my liver my be struggling to get rid of toxins, thus it is excreting them via my skin.

So I did a 5 day liver detox (very unpleasant) and then went on to do a three day apple cleanse, taking anti fungal enemas everyday (the same as acne free in 3 days routine). The result? I noticed ONE pimple dissapeared, the rest stayed and my face stayed the same.

I then decided to do a colon cleanse, and purchased (cautiously) the colon cleansing kit from blessed herbs. I did the whole cleanse, and although it did work, nothing has changed with my face! Infact, today my face has broken out even more sad.gif.

The colon cleanse involved a completely raw diet three days up to the cleanse, then five days of apple juice. I am now still eating a raw diet but my face looks terrible!

I have been on accutane and all the others…I dont want to go back on medication for it. The accutane messed my liver up.

I really don’t know what to do anymore, I am at my wits end. Someone please help sad.gif. I am so frustrated and lost so much self esteem.

Help!?

How do I get rid of my bad breath?

I am an 18 year old male. I am very active and eat all organic, all fresh food–very healthy eater.

I have very bad breath though. I have tried many things to rid myself of this. I have tried supplements, a Heel Body Detox Supplement, and I have rid my body of Candida…all to no avail. I have tried Chlorophyll Complex, and that has worked, but I do not want to be dependent on a supplement for clean breath.

The breath smells stale, gross, and strange–not necesarily like typical ‘bad breath.’ It is very bad in the morning and an hour after I eat. It is especially bad the morning after/day after I have been drinking alcohol.

I have been battling this for years and spent a lot of money trying to fix it, and it is getting unbearable. I need to do something now!

Thank you

Now to the question

I have been doing a lot of reading and have found information on what some people call "systemic candida" and have many of the symptoms.
I want to go on a program of natropathic candida treatment and systemic detox but I don’t know what all is ok to take together let alone with the medications I am currently on. I am interested in a program by NSC Immunituion at http://www.nsc24.com/fibromyalgia.htm. But I live in a small farming town between Buffalo and Rochester New York, and I am having trouble finding answers in the medical community.

Looking for a 1 week detox diet – Suggestions?

I am a 26 year old male looking to start a 1 week detox diet.

Several months ago I had an STD scare (which I am still living through) and after several months of being tested for everything under the sun and being told I am 100% healthy by every single Dr I have decided to take another approach (symptoms itching in the testicles, scrotum, penis tip and anus)

I was treated as a precaution by a HUGE dose of antibiotics, strong enough to virtually wipe out anything that was not supposed to be in my system. I then took several months of antibiotics as Dr’s tried something else.

My conclusion is that I may have a candida (yeast Infection) which is entirely possible after the high dosages of antibiotics.

I want to try a detox diet, something I have not tried before (as now I eat lots of junk food and somewhat depressed)

What is a good detox diet?
I was thinking only 1 thing for a week to keep it simple, but also be friendly to the candida infection
